Post Ultimate axe warr griff farming build

i've noticed that there seem to be alot of griff soloing build(and i mean alot), however, none seem to match this one which has always worked for me.

Attributes:
Healing: 10
Smiting: 1(cuz i had an extra point)
Axe Mastery: 11(10+1)
Tactics: 15(11+1+3)

Skills:
Cyclone Axe-use to restor life/do dmg
Executioneer's Strike-good for taking out straggalers
Gladeator's Defense-main sourse of dmg keep active when ever possible
"Watch Yourself"-always keep active for major dmg redution
Mend Condition-i only put that in here cuz i had a free slot and incase i step in a dust/fire trap
Virerous Spirit-always keep active for +10 life per hit
Live Vicariously-^same^
Balthazar's Sprit-always keep active to restore energy

Equipment:
Full Gladiator's armor with sup tactics, minor axe mastery, minor vigor(u can go higher but i dont find that i need it), major absorbtion(i find its good to at least have major). Tanzit's clever(i just use this because its the best i have and life bonus is nice, Malinon's shield(this is nice cuz i'm always enchanted)

Game Plan:
cast Live Vicariously and Balthazar's Spirit b4 aggro any groups

right after u aggro use Glad's Def, Virerous Spirit, and Watch Yourself

use Cyclone to steel 20 life for each target and do dmg

recast vigerous spirit and watch yourself as they wear off and recast glads whenever u can

if u happen to step in a trap mend condition works well(if u get blinded ur a gonner cuz u cant refil life if u cant attack)

Notes:
I find this works really well and i can take 10+ griffs/minotaurs at a time with rlative ease . as long as i keep watch yourself up i take less then 5-10 dmg per hit(which is less then i steel). and with 10 griffs and cyclone axe i get 200 life back(very nice indeed)

And For Those Who Need Proof

hope this helps some ppl

plz feel free to post comment/sugestions

Hello, I'm a new guy who can't use the search function
[/Sarcasm]

This my friend.. is a REALLY old build, and actually worse then the one posted nearly months ago since that build could easily take on the whole plain of mobs. [Before they stopped chasing you that is.. )

and as far as it not working, thats false it still works very well

i know u mean good , but here is what is wrrong.

swap balthzars spirit for mending
swap mend ailment for bonneti's (not only u get enery but u also refill energy) (and u can keep a 75% blocking going forever in between gladiators defence or cyclone axe)

use a vampiric(if u use this u can decrease healing), or furious hilt ......and a +armor 7 vs pshsical grip.

there u go just the same as most w/mo griff builds

hmmm..... well i did change out bonetti's for mend ailment, but if i swaped balthazar's spirit for mending(aside from have healing that i dont need) i would no way to regain energy

the second that i posted i relized that bonetti's give me back energy, however even if i did change out balthazar's spirit it wouldnt be for mending, becaue with this build i have absolutly ne need for it

thats the trick , u make sure u have 5 enrergy for cyclone axe and u do cyclone axe , bonneti's then boom max energy in a blink , u cast spells while bonneti's is on and then u cast wghatever spell u want and by the time u casted it u will have regained the energy. and repeat , when using gladiators defence , make sure u got adrenaline for bonnetis after glad defence runs out.

You don't need Watch Yourself but it helps other than having an empty space on your skill bar or replacing it with a skill that does damage. Besides WY is recharged in one cyclone axe compared to Dol Sig since that has a recharge time in order to get it's benefits.

doylak at at least 12 strength will stay on for i think its like 18secs it has a recharge time of 20secs, so for 2 secs youll will be vulnerable, WOw 2 whole secs, cast bonnetties, doylak back up, its a great skill for farming!! that plus watch ur self you will have +50 armor spammable if thats not Uber then i dont Know what is!!

and you dont need any points in healing, to farms griffons, it can be done with just a healing sig, doylak, watch ur self, glads def., and bonettis is all youll need, as a matter of fact you can farm just about anywhere with those 5 skills!!!!

I have taken a little varient of this build and it works great.
1.Cyclone axe
2.healing breeze
3.vigorus Spirit
4. bonnettis defense
5.Gladiator's defence
6.Undecided, might take zealots fire
7.Balthatzars Spirit
8.Mending

Cast mending and balthazars before you aggro. Once you get enough on you use cyclone axe and glads, use cylone until glads runs out and then use bonnettis. Once bonnettis is about to run out use cyclone, breeze, vigorus, cyclone agian, then bonnettis. If you are fast enough you will only have 4 seconds of vunerable time total, all your health and energy will be replenished by the time bonnettis is almost done. I will try with zealots and tell you guys how it works for me

drop the last nonsense skill (watch yourself, zealots fire...pointless etc - you have an even more higher chance to make them think its AoE and run for a bit)
put in judge's insight. while you have bonnettis defense up cast it, and you be full energy after its done casted. spam cyclone axe with this and do 50's and such if your axe dont suck. thats how its done.

edit
doyaks sig is a waste to take also, for any warrior you should have a shield that decreases damage taken by at least 2 while something (stance, enchant, etc). and have a customized axe

you all think you need to have so much armor, mending is a waste also, the point of having Live Vigariously and Vigarous Spirit is to spam cyclone axe with as much attacking/around you as possible and when you spin you hit each gaining 20 hp times the number of mobs. think about that for a second. then notice bonnettis's defense will be ready also, keep spaming like that and you can have a party in your pants!!

Strength of Honor + Mending + Vigorous + Cyclone Axe + Bonetti's always worked for me...but it's almost ridiculous how many different combinations you can come up with.

You're all wrong, my build in another post is the ULTIMATE Griffon, Troll, Mino, Aviaks, Boulder Giants, ETTINS, Unead and them other birdmen lol build in the whole game. I know cause I use it all the time and it destroys, massacres and is otherwise 100% effective always. (ducking now) haha

I hate it when people come and say there build is the best critisizing another without saying why it is better. Forums are ment to help people not to say there build is better without offering any help at all.

Default here's mine...

These all seem like good builds, but I went a different route with my warrior. Since many offensive & defensive warrior skills are fueled by the same attributes, I tried to make a pure warrior build to maximize offense and defense.
My build only uses warrior skills, and to my knowledge I haven't seen this exact build before. It's nothing crazy complex though, basically all stances and timing.

Here's a video I conveniently already had made, and was about to release : ) ~70megs and ~10 minutes long, but it's easier for you to watch than for me to keep typing, my hands hurt:
http://files.filefront.com/insidious.../fileinfo.html

Skills:
Cyclone Axe
Executioner's Strike
Desperation Blow (or Power Attack)
Gladiator's Stance {E}
Shield Stance
Bonetti's Defense
Healing Sig
Dolyak Sig

Attributes:
Tactics: highest (14)
Strength: next highest (11-13)
Axe: high (11-13)

My Equipment:
Chaos Axe, Max dmg, req 11
Dmg+13% (stance)
Sundering 9%, HP+29

Hand Axe, Max dmg, req 8
Dmg+14% (HP>50%)
Zealous, Enchantments 20% longer

Crimson Carapace Shield (collector's)
Armor: 16
HP+45 & Dmg-2 in stance

A Zealous axe helps, but you dont need one, as shown in my video.

Basically you want Dolyak Sig to last 18 or 19 secs and all stances to last as long as possible. High Tactics + Dolyak Sig + Desperation Blow = armor for hits that get past stances and massive dmg to the target you are focusing on, plus a random condition, minus the usual knockdown you get from Desperation Blow.
The only problems with Desperation Blow is Griffons use "I Will Survive" which could possibly offset the condition you inflict, and D.B. has a 7 second recharge, compared to the weaker but more spammable Power Attack with recharge of 4 seconds.

It's all stances and all about timing...

Please watch the video and let me know what you think : )

take your healing down to 8 and put those points in str so you do more damage with cyclone axe
im the first to bash mending but it does have its few uses, and it would help with this build if you use vamp mod for a weapon
